I know firsthand the life-changing power of public education. As a child, I often worried about basic needs like food and housing — but I was fortunate to have had dedicated teachers who ensured I had access to a high-quality education. That foundation allowed me to build a better future, and it’s why I’m so committed to serving on the Portsmouth School Board. Every child in our community deserves the same opportunity to thrive, regardless of their circumstances.
For the past eight years, I have served on the Portsmouth School Board, with the last two years as Vice Chair. I also serve on the Portsmouth Library Board of Trustees and have previously served on the Portsmouth Recreation Board.
If re-elected, I will continue working to ensure our schools are fully funded, our teachers are supported, and our students are prepared for the very challenging world they face today. A great education is not optional — it’s essential to their success and to our community’s future.
